Job Responsibilities

• Creatively lead the design process, demonstrating a strong conceptual design ability to move projects beyond the concept stage.
• Take ownership of architectural proposals, from initial masterplan concepts through to detailed design development, collaborating effectively with trans-national consultant teams.
• Design and manage multiple architectural projects simultaneously, ensuring design integrity and adherence to project timelines.
• Collaborate closely with technical engineering teams to ensure designs are structurally sound, functional, and technically compliant.
• Ensure knowledge awareness of local strategies, building codes, and client’s specific requirements are incorporated throughout the design process.
• Generate and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) promptly and clearly.
• Actively participate in project reviews with excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively advocate for and defend team designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture Engineering or Urban Design
• +5 years of professional design experience, ideally including experience within a tier-one architecture practice working on international projects
• Sound knowledge and proficiency in core design software: Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and 3D Max
• Strong modelling and post-production skills are required
• Proven ability to work independently or as part of a team to generate and solve complex architectural problems, coupled with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong motivation to learn
• Excellent written and spoken English

A portfolio or portfolio link is a must, showcasing projects where you played a key creative role and demonstrating your ability to develop projects collaboratively with engineering teams.

Work Conditions

Working hours: 8:00 to17:00

Days off: Friday and Saturday

Location: New Cairo
