Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Purpose:

To create and lead the design, supervision and coordination of mechanical systems for diverse engineering projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with ASHREA standards and Emirates Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical design activities (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.) across various projects.
• Review, approve, and ensure accuracy of mechanical drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in consultancy engineering, with proven project leadership.
• ⁠Minimum of 5 years' experience with REVIT design modeling software (mechanical).
• ⁠Delivers 3D model, drawings and clash reports.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems design and implementation.
• Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navis, HAP, etc.).
• BIM diploma is a plus.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• ⁠Aware of Emirates Municipalities regulations.
• ⁠Ability for design and develop the model to LOD350

Work Environment:

• Working hours: 8:00 to 17:30
• Days off: Friday and Saturday
• Location: New Cairo
