Odoo Functional Consultant

Role Overview

As an Odoo Functional Consultant, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team. You will be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, configuring Odoo applications, supporting end users, and ensuring smooth adoption of the ERP across departments.

This role is ideal for someone with strong business acumen, functional knowledge of ERP systems, and hands-on Odoo experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
• Map business processes to Odoo functionalities and recommend best-fit solutions.
• Configure, customize, and test Odoo applications (Sales, Projects, HR, Finance, Procurement, etc.).
• Collaborate with the technical team to design custom modules and integrations.
• Support end users with training, documentation, and issue resolution.
• Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure successful go-live.
• Provide post-implementation support and ongoing optimization of Odoo.
• Monitor system performance and suggest improvements to maximize efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as an Odoo Functional Consultant or ERP Consultant.
• Strong knowledge of core Odoo modules (Accounting, HR, Projects, Sales, Inventory, etc.).
• Ability to understand business workflows and translate them into functional requirements.
• Familiarity with Odoo customization and integration points.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Odoo certification is an advantage.
• Experience in Architecture, Design, or Engineering industries is a plus.
• Knowledge of change management and ERP adoption best practices.
